Seland Selected Top Player
Monday, May 7th , 2136
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Americas Baseball League, but last week Linus Seland of the Sacramento Stars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Seland rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (12-for-24), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award.
Seland is hitting .343 for the season with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 99 at-bats and played in 27 games.
