Robinson Wins ABL-AA Best Player Award Monday, July 4th, 2112 25-year-old Wilbert Robinson made a few Puebla headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and ABL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .444 average. Robinson collected 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Robinson is hitting at a .254 mark this season. His stats show 11 home runs, 57 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played 80 games for the Aztecs. |
