Super Month Nets Claessens #1 Batter Prize in IBL-AA Monday, July 1st , 2148 Trondheim Scholars fans believe they've got a talented young star in Leroy Claessens. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .373 with 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Intercontinental Baseball League Batter of the Month. In his season totals, Claessens has 8 home runs, .359 BA, .437 OBP, 27 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has played in 30 games. |
