Week's Premier Performer Honored by IBL-AA Monday, June 18th , 2136 27-year-old Paddy Nothard made a few Bochum headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Intercontinental Baseball League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Nothard collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This year Nothard is hitting at a .318 pace with 3 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has played in 63 games and scored 27 times. |
