Kalamazoo Tops Canberra Tuesday, October 1st , 2154 The Kalamazoo Six Strings ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Canberra Comets 9-7 to win the AA World Series. Kalamazoo won the series 4-3, capturing the title for the 1st time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Kalamazoo manager . "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 74-58 and claimed second place in the Americas Baseball League North American Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and second baseman Eric White said the Six Strings have "great fans and they deserve this."
