Pérez Gets ABL-AA #1 Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, September 1st , 2144 In August Sacramento starter Carlos Pérez confused hitters all month long. Last month's Americas Baseball League Pitcher of the Month took home the trophy as he collected a 4-0 record in 5 starts. The 24-year-old Pérez added 30 strikeouts in 34.1 innings and 7 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.57 ERA. Other clubs hit .211 against him. On his stats sheet for the year Pérez shows a 7-7 record, 21 starts, 114 innings, 100 strikeouts and a 4.58 ERA. |
