Wasechko Holds Porto Alegre Scoreless Sunday, April 11th , 2151 The bats were ice cold for the Porto Alegre Toucans at Foxes Ballpark. Kalamazoo Six Strings starter Olezka Wasechko kept the Toucans cold all day, shutting them out, 6-0. In a fine outing, the 26-year-old hurler allowed 4 hits while striking out 3 and walking 2. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Wasechko admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." |
