July's ABL-AA Batter of Month Award Announced Sunday, August 1st , 2151 In July, José Morales was the toughest out in the Americas Baseball League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Batter of the Month. The Sacramento shortstop rapped out 28 hits in 81 at-bats for a .346 batting average, hit 5 home runs, drove in 18 runs and scored 15 times. This season, Morales is swinging the bat at a .253 rate with 88 hits in 348 at-bats. To date he has hit 12 home runs, scored 37 runs and driven in 50. |
