Kulovana King of Fling with No-Hitter Wednesday, July 1st , 2139 Excitement reigned at The Homestead today as Canberra Comets hurler Izaac Kulovana tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Sendai Shogun, 5-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Kulovana said. "Today I just went right at the Shogun as hard as I could, as long as I could." Kulovana chalked up 13 strikeouts and allowed 5 walks in his superb performance. "I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Canberra manager .
