Milan Downs Trondheim as Walsh Tosses 7-0 Shutout Friday, July 3rd , 2139 Milan Marauders pitcher Chris Walsh really got it done at Badgers Stadium today in his 7-0 shutout victory over the Trondheim Scholars, shutting them down on 4 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Walsh said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 28-year-old issued no walks and had 5 strikeouts in the Marauders win. This year Walsh has made no relief appearances with no saves. In 114 innings, he has fanned 100 hitters and recorded 7 wins and 2 losses with a 1.82 ERA. |
