Bochum Advances to League Championship Series Monday, September 13th , 2151 There certainly wasn't much separating the Bochum Foxes and Giza Guardians in this year's Divisional Series. In the end, it was the Foxes advancing to the League Championship Series with a 3-1 win at BAE Systems Field, to cap off a thrilling 3-2 series win. Foxes right-hander and series MVP Carlos Ahern took a short break from the clubhouse victory celebration to tell BNN reporters that "winning a series in the last game makes it all the more sweet." For the series, Ahern's performance no doubt made things even sweeter. He had a 0.00 ERA over 9 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Bochum Foxes will play against the Canberra Comets in the next round. Canberra won their series against the Gujranwala Ospreys 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes. |
