Sousa Socks it to Royals, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, May 30th, 2122 Eugene Emeralds second baseman Tobias Sousa went ballistic today with the bat. He hammered the Guelph Royals for 5 hits and drove Eugene to a 10-2 win over Guelph at Syracuse Fields. Tobias Sousa doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Wilbert Hollis in the 8th. Sousa's current batting average stands at .335 and he has chalked up 5 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
