ABL-R's #1 Player, Ferrenho of Sao Luis Monday, July 4th, 2112 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the ABL Rookie League, but last week Gonçalo Ferrenho of the Sao Luis Jaguars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ferrenho rocked opposing pitching for a .643 average (9-for-14), 1 home run and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. In 2112 Ferrenho has hit at a .369 clip with 55 hits, 1 home run, 16 RBIs and has scored 27 times. |
