Cabrera Wins Best Bat Award in July Saturday, August 1st , 2144 Naples Naturals fans believe they've got a talented young star in Salvador Cabrera. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .410 with 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 19 runs scored. The end result was the third baseman being named the Intercontinental Baseball League Batter of the Month. So far this season Cabrera is batting .311 with 10 home runs, 79 RBIs and 67 runs scored. He has 104 hits in 334 at-bats, 72 walks and a .436 OBP. Cabrera has played in 99 games. |
