Cheetahs No Match for Eiffe, Naturals in 20-0 Thumping Wednesday, July 6th , 2146 AtÃlio Eiffe was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Kisumu Cheetahs on 4 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Kisumu manager after the 20-0 loss to the Naples Naturals. Eiffe finished with 11 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Naples manager said Eiffe "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off." To date this year Eiffe has compiled a 13-1 mark with a 3.14 ERA in 17 starts. |
