Waseem Twirls 6-0 Shutout for Loppet Sunday, April 4th , 2151 Lillehammer Loppet hurler Mahmud Waseem was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Tianjin Emperors, shutting them out, 6-0, on 4 hits. "Mahmud was very aggressive tonight," Lillehammer manager said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Waseem tallied 8 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager said. "Waseem has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off." |
