Stone Picks up ABL-R Monthly Pitching Honor Monday, July 1st, 2115 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Mark Stone put together a very solid month to take home the ABL Rookie League's top pitching honor in June. The 22-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In no relief appearances he raked in no saves and 42 strikeouts in 48 innings as he put together his 5-0 record and 1.69 ERA. For the year, Stone has collected no saves in 9 relief appearances. He has also rung up 84 strikeouts and 33 walks in 88.1 innings while registering a 3.06 ERA and a 7-1 won-lost mark. |
