ABL-R Honors Plano Right Fielder Monday, May 8th , 2147 A hot-hitting week got Josef Zweig the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Plano right fielder slammed them for a .381 average, 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In the postgame press conference, Zweig shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." This year Zweig has 5 home runs and a .242 batting average. |
