IBL-R Awards Best Batter Prize to Tallara Monday, August 2nd , 2151 Lillehammer Loppet catcher Anoi Tallara had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Intercontinental Baseball League named him Player of the Week. Tallara banged out 8 hits in 18 at-bats on the way to a .444 batting average. He also racked up 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 34 games this year, Tallara has posted a .256 average and put up these numbers: 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
