Lucca Blisters South Bend Thursday, August 5th , 2151 No matter what the South Bend Leprechauns threw him, Ferki Lucca hit it. The 22-year-old Recife Jaguars catcher racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Jaguars Ballpark and led the Jaguars to a win, 25-2. Ferki Lucca grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, walked in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Anastasio Vega in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. So far this year, Lucca is batting .314 with 9 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
