Young Goes 5-for-6 Against Lillehammer Thursday, June 25th , 2139 Bonn Foxes left fielder Russ Young really lit up the Lillehammer Loppet with a 5-hit barrage today at Quezon Grounds -- a performance that sparked the Foxes to a 12-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Russ Young singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Adirizak Maranga in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. Thus far in 2139 Young is hitting .313 with 6 home runs, 55 RBIs, 42 runs scored and has compiled a .390 OBP. |
