Brooklyn Park's Allen ABL-R #1 Batter in August Saturday, September 1st, 2103 Wilbur Allen made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the ABL Rookie League this past month. The Brooklyn Park Millers third baseman shone through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old hit .396 with 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 26 runs scored. This year Allen is hitting .296 with 159 hits, 14 home runs, 87 RBIs and has scored 83 runs. |
