La Romana Captures Americas Baseball League Latin American Division Crown Monday, September 6th , 2151 Syed Din called it "one of the best parts of being a pro ballplayer." The La Romana Toros third baseman was referring to winning a division title, as his club has just captured the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division crown. "There's not many better feelings than winning a tight pennant race," he said. "We worked hard for it all year, have our record at 89-43 right now and feel we're in good shape for the postseason." It was the 3rd time the Toros have won the division. It may be a high for Din and his teammates, but there is certainly one better feeling he's now hoping for. "Winning the R World Series," he said. "Nothing would top that." |
