The home crowd had a good time watching the Havana Dolphins and Sao Paulo Toucans get after it.
The Sao Paulo Toucans took Havana pitcher Ramachandra Ghandi's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Toucans Ballpark. The final score had Sao Paulo getting past the Dolphins, 5-1. Ghandi went 6 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 5. The victory gives Sao Paulo a record of 48-32.
Sao Paulo took a 3-1 lead on Philippe Bonhomme's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Havana pitcher You-yi Chang in the bottom of the eighth.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Bonhomme.
