Fine Effort by Trung Not Enough in 14-10 Thunderbirds Loss
The Mexico City Aztecs had to overcome a big game from El Paso center fielder Thao Trung to leave Thunderdome with a victory. And they did, winning 14-10. Trung went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The Aztecs raised their record to 32-53.

Hiep Hoan had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Mexico City. With the bases loaded and the Aztecs leading 8-6, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hoan.
