Multi-HR Game for Trung in 9-5 Win
The first-place El Paso Thunderbirds picked up another win.

Thao Trung helped his team muscle past the Sao Paulo Toucans, 9-5. In the game, the El Paso right fielder went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The triumph puts El Paso at 70-32 for the season.

El Paso took a 9-5 lead on Bahupatu Ranjitsinhji's 46th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Sao Paulo pitcher Ha-ro Lee in the bottom of the eighth.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Trung.
