Thunderbirds Lose to Aztecs in Walk Off
The Mexico City Aztecs topped the El Paso Thunderbirds, 6-5, in Americas Baseball League action at Ballpark of Mexico City. The standout performance belonged to Mexico City pitcher and Zurich, Switzerland, native Warren Manstein. The winner was Pedro Espinosa in relief. His record improves to 2-6. Harvey Yeandle took the loss. The win has Mexico City at 41-71.

Eisaku Koyama was the walk-off hero for Mexico City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aztecs third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Warren -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Aztecs manager Square Drive. "He was the key to us winning."
