Kululu Olujimi never let Melbourne get something going. The Karachi right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Falcons to a 3-1 win. Akantaka Srikrisna notched his 25th save in 29 chances. The win gives Karachi a season record of 69-54.

Karachi relied on the bat of Gerald Holmes to get the win. The right fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the third inning to put the Falcons ahead, 3-0. For the game, Holmes had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

Holmes told a Karachi Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
