Ranjitsinhji Jacks Two Home Runs in 8-7 El Paso Win
The El Paso Thunderbirds bested the Santo Domingo Palmchats by a score of 8-7, with first baseman Bahupatu Ranjitsinhji getting the main credit. On the day, Ranjitsinhji hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Thunderbirds. Qian-fu Luo converted his 36th save in 40 tries. The win gives El Paso a season record of 95-41.

Ranjitsinhji had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count cutter from Mario De La Cruz, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Thunderbirds a 8-7 lead. It was the 65th home run of the year for Ranjitsinhji.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Ranjitsinhji told the El Paso Daily. "It's as simple as that."
