Coqui Come Back Late to Top Beefs, 4-1

Puerto Rico and Chicago duked it out and the Coqui came out victorious.
The Puerto Rico Coqui beat the Chicago Beefs, 4-1. Puerto Rico pitcher and Søgne, Norway, native Dag Rusten led the way. Rusten got the win, improving to 8-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Rusten allowed 1 run. Jorge Ocampo got the save, his 40th in 41 chances.
Puerto Rico used the clutch hitting of Hideki Oka to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Coqui ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Puerto Rico manager Kir By.
Puerto Rico now has a record of 76-64 with the win.
