Fitzies Lose to Beefs, 7-2
|
Chicago starter Sascha Schenk pitched well against the Gitche Gumee Fitzies at Beefs Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. Schenk, now 6-1, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 1, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The second-place Beefs have won 4 straight games.
