With center fielder Philippe Mollet leading the charge, the Daegu Monks defeated the Black Forest Foxes, 9-5, at Monks Stadium. The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Mollet, who is tied for 8th in the IBL in total bases with 115, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Monks into the lead, 6-4.
