Fresno Takes Divisional Series
Depending on your loyalties, the Divisional Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the Fresno Stars and the Santiago Caballeros giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Stars came out on top, winning 1-0 at Estadio Santo Domingo today to take the series 3-2.

"We're lucky to be going into the League Championship Series," said Fresno pitcher Pierre Faure. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

Faure earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .333 average, with 0 home runs, 2 RBI and 1 runs scored.

The Fresno Stars will play against the Belo Horizonte Jaguars in the next round. Belo Horizonte won their series against the Grand Rapids Growlers 3 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
