Rovner Firms Up Extension with Daegu Sunday, January 8th , 2147 A contract extension between Hedeon Rovner and Daegu was reached earlier today. Rovner will continue to play for the Monks and will pocket $7,950,000 over the next 3 years. The Monks said the extension "shows our level of confidence in him and in the type of player and person he is." Rovner is batting .278 with 823 career base hits, including 145 doubles, 17 triples and 41 home runs with 303 RBIs and 366 runs scored. He has played in 827 games, stolen 30 bases and compiled a .319 OBP. |
