El Paso, Paris Make Trade Monday, January 30th , 2147 The El Paso Thunderbirds and Paris Fleur-de-Lis have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. El Paso will part with 20-year old minor league CF Jessie Wood and a 3rd round draft pick, while the Fleur-de-Lis have dealt 30-year old LHP Xing-peng Tze. "This one took a while to figure out," said El Paso general manager AP MP. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." Tze has put up a 3.20 ERA in his career and fanned 206 hitters. His record stands at 18-12 with 6 saves. |
