Colón Tosses Shutout Against Cairo
Thursday, April 8th , 2151
António Colón shut out the Cairo Pharaohs, 4-0, on a 2-hit masterpiece for the Black Forest Foxes at The Den.
"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Black Forest skipper DP Woodford said afterward.
Colón registered 5 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in pitching a gem.
"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Cairo manager J Stell after the defeat.
