300th Save for Ngo As Dolphins Hold Off Coqui Tuesday, May 9th , 2147 The Havana Dolphins really celebrated their 2-0 victory over the Puerto Rico Coqui at El Estadio Latinoamericano. Not only did the Dolphins win the game, but reliever Tu Ngo recorded his 300th-career save. The bullpen ace stopped Puerto Rico on no runs and no hits in his 1 innings of work to seal the triumph. "It's a good milestone -- it doesn't happen very often," Ngo said. "I was out there when my teammates needed me 300 times, and I'm real proud of that." To date Ngo has posted a career 73-70 record with 300 saves. The 39-year-old has rung up 1220 strikeouts, has a 3.09 ERA and has allowed teams to hit .215 against him.
