José López Gets 250th Victory Saturday, May 27th , 2147 El Paso's José López took the hill at Beefs Stadium today in search of his 250th career win. The 41-year-old ace found it against the Chicago Beefs. After the historic victory, his manager told reporters, "I saw a tremendous sigh of relief when this thing was over. He was just looking to hug everyone in sight." He worked 6 innings with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 7-5 victory, checking Chicago on 11 hits. "It a big milestone in my career," admitted López. "When you get close to it, you worry about it a lot. It's done now... and I can relax and enjoy it."
