Karachi-Melbourne Trade Confirmed Monday, June 12th , 2147 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Karachi Falcons and Melbourne Meteors finalized a trade today. Karachi will send 24-year old minor league 2B Dae-hwan Koo, a 1st round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick, a 13th round draft pick, a 4th round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick to the Meteors, while the Falcons will receive 24-year old SS Artie Riley. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," Falcons general manager Slu Baseball said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. Riley is presently hitting at a .261 pace with 8 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 57 games and scored 38 times. |
