Wednesday, June 21st , 2147
Hidehira Yamamoto was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Los Angeles Stars on 4 hits.

"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Los Angeles manager Andy Hustle after the 10-0 loss to the El Paso Thunderbirds.

Yamamoto finished with 2 strikeouts and 4 walks in a strong outing.

In the postgame press conference, El Paso manager AP MP said Yamamoto "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."

Up to now Yamamoto has recorded a record of 6-4. In 13 starts he has fanned 53 batters in 83 innings with a 4.66 ERA.
