Thunderbirds Trade Hua to Fitzies for Kim Monday, July 31st , 2147 After prolonged negotiations El Paso agreed to ship 28-year old minor league RHP Xing-hua Hua, 23-year old minor league SS Gonzalo Sosa, and 20-year old minor league LF Rafael Molina to Gitche Gumee for 32-year old LHP Dae-il Kim and $6,000,000 in cash. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." For his career Hua has posted a 15-11 record with 2 saves in 103 games. The 28-year-old has rung up 135 strikeouts and compiled a 5.33 ERA. This year Kim has 11 wins and 6 losses and a 3.18 ERA. |
