Tokyo Starter Wins July's Pitcher Award Tuesday, August 1st , 2147 No doubt about it! Tokyo starter Yoshifusa Hasegawa earned his Intercontinental Baseball League Pitcher of the Month award. He made that very clear as he mowed his way through league hitters in July. During the month Hasegawa chalked up a 4-0 record with a 1.69 ERA. The Shogun star made 4 starts and surrendered 28 hits in 32 innings. He struck out 22 and walked 4. This year Hasegawa has recorded a 10-5 mark. In 21 starts he has fanned 95 batters in 143.1 innings with a 2.70 ERA. |
