July's Best Rookie in a Class by Himself Tuesday, August 1st , 2147 Youngster Yi-lin Han emerged as the latest Americas Baseball League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Santo Domingo deserved the honor, batting .347 with 6 home runs and 20 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Han enjoy the limelight. Han is hitting .324 this season with 27 home runs, 84 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has 119 hits in 367 at-bats. |
