Great August Gets Saqr ABL Best Hitter Award Friday, September 1st , 2147 Abraha Saqr made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Americas Baseball League this past month. The Sao Paulo Toucans right fielder shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old hit .344 with 14 home runs, 33 RBIs and 27 runs scored. In his season totals Saqr has 27 home runs and a .293 batting average. |
