Liu Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Friday, September 1st , 2147 Guo-qing Liu's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 25 games. The Rome second baseman smacked 2 hits against the Oslo Voyageurs in today's game at OsloDome, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Generals drop the game, 5-4. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly."
