Coqui Starter Named September's Premier Pitcher Sunday, October 1st , 2147 It's official! Dag Rusten of the Puerto Rico Coqui is the Americas Baseball League Pitcher of the Month. In September he dominated the league with 5 wins and no losses in 5 starts. In 37 innings of work Rusten chalked up 29 strikeouts, 6 walks, a 1.70 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .214 batting average. This year Rusten has a 15-7 record with a 3.48 ERA in 27 starts. |
