Black Rhinos Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, October 2nd , 2147 The Nairobi Black Rhinos may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in World Baseball Association. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Black Rhinos manager J Stell said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Before this season, the Black Rhinos had made the playoffs 4 times in a row. In the 18 years they have been a World Baseball Association franchise, they have made the playoffs 6 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Black Rhinos have made the playoffs 7 times. |
