Jake Walls Wins IBL-A Trophy Monday, May 19th , 2138 One of the league's most exciting young players, Jake Walls of the Guangzhou Emperors earned himself Intercontinental Baseball League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old right fielder had a lofty .458 average (11-for-24), collecting 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 3 runs scored. So far this season Walls has put up a .333 batting average with 49 hits, 8 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
