Ibrahim Hurls Ponce to Shutout Win Wednesday, June 24th , 2144 22-year-old Ponce Coqui pitcher Amazuz Ibrahim had a strong outing against the Goiania Toucans at Ballpark of Ponce today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 12 in the 1-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 6 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. To date this season Ibrahim has compiled a 7-9 record with a 3.52 ERA in 17 starts. |
