Martínez Earns June's Top Batter Prize in ABL-A Saturday, July 1st, 2130 At only 22 years of age, José Martínez could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Goiania Toucans, as June was one to remember for the right fielder and he has captured the Americas Baseball League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .432 with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This season Martínez is hitting .343 with 14 home runs. |
